Table Tent Editorial Design (Illustrator, InDesign)

Editorial Design and Typography The project objective was to develop event-related table tent designs that also promote a restaurant’s brand. Original design elements include logos, vector illustrations, typographical placement and image editing techniques.

I began my design process by producing a number of illustrative elements that would be used in the final table tent layout. I developed several vector-based elements including a Chicago cityscape, a colorful food truck skin design, a restaurant logo, a stylized hamburger and food truck design.

With the original artwork finalized, I then produced a number of rough sketches to decide the layout of the table tents and how my content would interact with stock photos of volunteers and placeholder copy.

I decided on my two best designs and combined the elements together to build table tents that met the project criteria of promoting an event as well as a restaurant's brand.
