I started by gathering visual and copy content for the magazine's cover and articles.
After researching WWII-era publications like Yank Magazine, and with a couple of key photos in mind, I began the design process by roughly sketching several cover and spread layouts.
I paired photos with editorial content and developed a cover and two internal spreads. I chose fonts and a color palette that reflected era-specific publication design and utilized all elements listed in the objective to meet the project specifications.
