I decided to promote Farmer's Fridges' Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. I began my research by looking up the ingredient list of the product and constructing a moodboard of likely elements I had in mind for my design. My idea was to depict the product as a humorous and literal interpretation of an actual chicken character portraying Caesar himself while willfully becoming a meal by including himself in a grill and showered in salad ingredients, as if he were being honored by the citizenry of Rome.
With an idea of what I wanted to include in my design, I sketched out several concepts of what I wanted those elements to look like. I decided on four major elements: Caesar (the chicken-character focal point), a Roman architectural backdrop (for context), a Roman chariot (to look like a grill, since the product contains grilled chicken) and the depiction of other salad ingredients found specifically in the product.
